Top 5 Betfair Trading Software
Betfair Trading Software exists to make trading the betting exchanges easier for you. This isn’t an exhaustive list of trading software as there are literally dozens of various pieces of software out there, however I hope you find it useful list as I recommend trading software to anyone looking to take their Betfair & BetDaq trading to new heights. There is no way I would ever trade a tennis match without using software as the market is so volatile.
Bet Angel Professional
Probably the best known of all of the trading software out there and although a free version does exist, it’s with the paid for subscription that you get the real benefit. I personally use this alongside LayBotPro (below) on a daily basis and I do enjoy the intuitive build of the software as well as the functionality.
Soccer Mystic and Tennis Trader are excellent additions to the Bet Angel Professional package which allow you to predict price movements in soccer & tennis markets by running what-if scenarios based on certain events. This allows you to accurately predict your entry and exit points before an event has started, as well as testing new strategy theories

Racing Traders – BetTrader Evolution
Racing Traders was the first ever betfair trading software that I bought and I have to say that Adam Todd the owner has done an excellent job in developing this over the years. Adam is a full time trader himself, so he really understands what pro traders desire and need and you can see this within the software. I do occasionally buy a subscription every few months just to give it a run out as it’s probably the trading software which is easiest on the eye to use.
Geeks Toy
If you’re on a low budget, then this is the interface to use and even if you’re not it’s still an excellent piece of software, which is somehow incredibly available for free. It features most of the items needed to be successful, such as automatic hedging etc and the forum over at Geeks Toy is also an excellent resource. It’s also known as AGT Pro (A Geek’s Toy) and although the GUI is not the best, it functions perfectly well and should be a download for any budding trader.

Grey Horse Bot
As the name suggests, this was developed with Horse Racing in mind and it allows you to bet on selections based on varying factors, such as number of runners, odds, when it’s going in play, favourite yes/no amongst many others. You can also choose when to stop at a profit or loss as well as winning and losing streaks. It does the job well enough, but to be perfectly honest, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. There are some decent bonuses with your intial discounted purchase, so a 1 month subscription will probably pay for itself as you familiarise yourself with the free horse laying strategies

Lay Bot Pro
This is the perfect software for those of you that enjoy laying horse or greyhounds but are not interested in the fancy Betfair trading software with all of the fancy advanced charting and candles etc. This is a simple set and forget piece of software. You load your greyhound or horse racing markets and the choose what you want to lay, for how much, when and then simply click start and you can leave your bot to place your bets throughout the day

Good luck in the trading markets

Hi Steven!
I use actually Geeks toy and sometimes it so hard to trade with it,but sometimes its enjoyable.
I think bet angel little complicated to me because I feel like a telephone bill
(I have to pay by monthly)
I dont say its not worthable, but someone trade just at the weekend it would be a very expensive software.
What about Iphone apps which you can trade with them?
Could you reccommend any apps?
Regards,
Nider
Hi Nider
Yes Bet Angel can seem expensive, but it’s just over £10 per month and I really believe that you can increase your profits by more than that from using it, even if only using minimum stakes.
For Betfair trading on the iPhone, I use ibetmate as I find it far superior to the official Betfair iPhone app, although to be fair that has improved.
On my iPad, the official Betfair iPad app is good, but another free app, which is certainly worth a look is BetTornado, which is brought to us by the guys over at JuiceStorm
Cheers

Hello,
I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind exchanging links since your site looks like a resource I’d like to share with my own readers.
Many thanks in advance,
Swearbox
Hi Swearbox
No problem, I’ll pop a link on tomorrow as I’m not on my pc at the moment, just on the iPad and can’t be bothered logging in fully.
Please pop me a link up and also thought you might appreciate a word of warning mate
I started off blogging on wordpress.com until they suddenly pulled the plug on me and I lost access to my blog and content. I managed to get in to backup my content, but it was extremely worrying and not much fun.
Basically WordPress.com does not allow any content with affiliate links, which I notice you have (Hostgator etc), so make sure you backup your content regularly as I’d hate for you to go through the ball ache I had to.
Cheers
Steve
Hi again….I think you forgot about adding my link to your blogroll
In reference to the stuff you wrote about losing your content etc I’ve registered another site that’s on my own domain so I’m going to be doing some work on that soon…
Didn’t forget mate, just adding you to the wrong category, but it’s all sorted now, so you should be showing up
Good luck with the new domain, just let me know the new URL when you’ve launched it. FYI – It is possible to import all your existing from wordpress.com into a self hosted wordpress blog
Cheers
Steve
