A good day for the challenge Betfair account as I traded 15 football markets for a combined profit of £51.54, although today was a war of attrition as many of you following me on twitter will have realised. At one point I had 7 active trades and 6 of them made it to half-time at 0-0, leaving me staring down the barrel of a terrible Saturday. Luckily though the goals started to go home in the second half and I finally exited 3 matches late on
It really was a mish mash of trading as I traded matches all across Europe with the biggest profit coming from the Portuguese and Spanish Leagues in the Leiria v Rio Ave and Getafe v Sociedad helping me along on a very tough day of trading the exchanges. So the challenge bank is now on £389.34, which leaves just another £19,610.66 to go. Which seems a long long way away when I write it down like that!
The challenge is proving challenging, as I suppose it should, hence the name. I've found it a little difficult trying to run 2 Betfair accounts at the same time, but overall I think it's just a case of getting used to it.
I liken it to playing poker, when I first started playing poker online I used to play one table and struggle to keep up, then as I improved I started to multi-table, firing up 2 tables, then 4 and by the end I had worked my way up to 11 or 12 tables at the same time. The more that I trade multiple Betfair accounts for this challenge, the more I'll improve and get used to it. I'm always looking to develop as a trader and having lots of markets on the go is certainly sharpening up my skills and making me become more orderly with my screen selection etc, so onwards and upwards we go
I hope you all had a good day on the markets, Cheers, Steve
